Introduction: In 2004, Heilongjiang Dongning Huaxin Economic and Trade Co., Ltd. established the Sino-Russian joint venture ARMADA in Primorsky Krai, Russia, and began to invest in the construction of China-Russia (Primorsky Krai) Modern Agricultural Industry Cooperation Zone. After 10 years of development and construction, it has developed into the largest agricultural cooperation project between China and Russia integrating planting, breeding and processing. The project is one of the ten key projects of local cooperation between China and Russia signed by President Xi Jinping during his visit to Russia on March 20, 2010; During Premier Li Keqiang's visit to Russia in April 2012, Premier Li Keqiang witnessed the signing of one of the 28 key projects of China-Russia economic and trade cooperation; In 2013, it passed the project approval of China Investment Co., Ltd.; In 2014, it was included in the "Minutes of Talks" of the first meeting of the China-Russia Subcommittee on Agricultural Cooperation, which became a major project for Sino-Russian bilateral cooperation to jointly promote it.


Details: The cooperation zone now has 68,000 hectares (1.02 million mu) of arable land and 14 planting areas. Specifically, it is distributed in 23 villages of Lilych, Shilaevka, Popovka, Dubinsk, Stepbnoye, Abramovka and Nesteprovka in the three administrative districts of Mikhail, Khorol and Pogranichny in the Primorsky Krai. It has 548 sets of advanced agricultural machinery and transportation vehicles such as "Deere", "Keyes", "New Holland", "Mark", etc., and the agricultural mechanization rate has reached 100%.

The yield of wheat and corn planted in the cooperation zone has ranked first in Primorye of Russia for many consecutive years; The operating enterprise "ARMADA Company" has been rated as the best agricultural enterprise in Primorsky Krai of Russia for many years, in 2012 it was rated as "the second place in the top 100 agricultural enterprises of the Russian Federation" by the Moscow Rating Group company, and in 2013 it won the "first place in the income of the national pig breeding industry standard of the Russian Federation".

The cooperation zone has built a platform for cooperation between Chinese and Russian enterprises, and the settled enterprises are: Heilongjiang Agricultural Reclamation New Friendship Agricultural Economic Development Co., Ltd., Harbin Fuxin Investment Co., Ltd., Harbin Yingruisi Feed Co., Ltd., Heilongjiang Longjiang Fugrain and Oil (Industry) Group Co., Ltd., Suifenhe Yuangu Agricultural Development Co., Ltd., Hebei Zhongding Animal Husbandry Co., Ltd. It has driven nine state-owned farms of the Mudanjiang Management Bureau and the Baoquanling Management Bureau of the Northern Wilderness of Agricultural Reclamation to enter the cooperation zone to engage in agricultural planting.

The successful operation of this project will further expand the space for China's agricultural development, establish a strategic grain reserve base abroad, and drive the export of domestic agricultural machinery and labor services; Products planted, produced and processed are shipped back to China, improving the quality structure of domestic grain, and ensuring national food security and food safety; Develop the international food market and strive for the right to speak on food in the international market; It is of great significance to strengthen economic and trade cooperation in China-Russia border areas, promote the development of China-Russia strategic partnership of coordination, build a model of pragmatic cooperation projects advocated by the leaders of China and Russia as "good neighbors, good friends and good partners", and realize complementary advantages and mutual benefit and win-win results in China-Russia cooperation.
