Details: In order to create conditions for attracting investment in the establishment of modern high-tech production enterprises, create new jobs, raise the income level of the population, and in accordance with the requirements of the memorandum of understanding on the implementation of the Uzbek-China Industrial Park project in Uzbekistan, Uzbekistan decided to create a Jizzakh Special Industrial Zone in the Jizzakh Region and to set up a branch in the Syrdarya region of the Syrdarya region.
The main task and direction of work of the Jizzakh Special Industrial Zone is to attract direct investment and create new enterprises for the deep processing of mineral and agricultural raw materials.
On March 18, the President of Uzbekistan instructed the development of transport, communications and livelihood infrastructure in the Jizzakh Special Industrial Zone by deepening the process of domestic production based on domestic raw materials.
The Jizzakh Special Industrial Zone has a period of operation of 30 years and can be extended. A separate tax regime and tariff incentives will be implemented in the industrial zone.
