Project introduction:
A Spanish R&D center specializing in ICT has developed a new tracking and alarm system, which is mainly used in emergency management, locating and communicating the personnel performing tasks. The system consists of a communication network, a tablet computer, a command post ICP (Internet Communication Platform) application program and several nodes.
These nodes ha ve EGNSS (European Global Na vigation Satellite System), IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) pedestrian dead reckoning and UWB (Broadband) distance sensors, so there is no need to deploy fixed infrastructure. The system uses a new fusion algorithm to estimate the position of each node, without knowing the building in advance.
The commander can track the first responders according to the command, and receive everyone's alarm and monitoring data into his mobile application to decide to take action. Other affairs command posts of the organization will also receive the same information.
