This Panamanian company is looking for steel wire rope slings, single legs) with the following requirements:
Description:
(1) Material: The wire rope used in the manufacturing of slings shall be of Class 6x36, Warrington- Seale, modified plough grade, uncoated, wire rope core (IWRC), properly laid regularly and thoroughly coated with the newly revised lubricant in accordance with ASTM A1023/A1023M during the manufacturing process.
(2) Structure: the eyelets shall be mechanically spliced Flemisheye eyelets with a welded tapered carbon steel sleeve. Holes shall be of the dimensions specified in the description of each respective item and shall be constructed on the same horizontal plane.
(3) Proof load test: the proof load test of single-leg mechanical splicing slings shall be at least 2 times of the rated load and 2.5 times; The test shall complete the slings in accordance with ASMEB30.9 Section 9-2.6.
(4) identification: lifting belts shall be identified by metal plates or additional polyester labels, indicating a single vertical rated load; The size of the sling (the diameter of the wire rope multiplied by the length of the sling); The manufacturer's identification, which will be maintained throughout the service life of the sling. The information printed on the metal label should be etched, imprinted, embossed or preprinted. Ink marking is not acceptable.
(5) Certificate: The steel wire rope used for manufacturing slings shall have a certificate of qualification for rolling test and tensile strength. The original test results shall be submitted together with the goods and shall be submitted upon acceptance and payment.
(6) Sample: The manufacturer shall provide a 12-inch sample of the wire rope used to make the slings with the goods, which sample shall be cut mechanically to obtain a clear portion of the cable sample. This is a requirement for acceptance of the goods.
