The planned area of the park is 30 square kilometers, and the built-up area is 5 square kilometers. The park is divided into four zones according to industry, namely the metallurgical industrial park, the building materials industrial park, the agricultural product processing industrial park and the new area focusing on machinery and electronics, medicine and food, textile and clothing industries. There are 168 industrial enterprises, including 42 enterprises above designated size and 5 enterprises with an annual production capacity of more than 100 million yuan. In 2007, the total income of technology, industry and trade reached 2.46 billion yuan, of which the industrial sales income was 1.92 billion yuan, and the actual local tax payment was 59.97 million yuan. The new district implements the development management system of "headquarters + management committee + development company".
