Details: In May 2006, after submitting to the National Development and Reform Commission for review and confirmation, it was agreed that Zhongshan Private Science and Technology Park would go through the supplementary procedures for the establishment of a provincial-level development zone, and it was officially named "Guangdong Zhongshan Industrial Park" (Yue Fu Han [2006] No. 104). In August of the same year, approved by the Ministry of Land and Resources, the total area of Zhongshan Industrial Park in Guangdong was 427.78 hectares (one park and three districts).
