Introduction: Brunei Sungai Ridge Industrial Park Authority announced on the 13th that the park infrastructure construction project with a total investment of 13 million yuan has been approved, and local contractor Jianfeng Private Limited has obtained the project. The project is expected to be completed in April next year to tie in with the operation of the methanol plant, a major enterprise in the park. Covering an area of 271 hectares, it is currently the largest industrial park in China.
Details: Sungai Liang Industrial Park (Sungai Liang Industrial Park, established on April 6, 2007) by Sungai Liang Authority, is planned to cover an area of 271 hectares, close to the western Brunei oil and gas production zone, mainly developing oil and gas downstream industries and manufacturing, power and other infrastructure. At present, projects such as a methanol plant, urea plant and a biodiesel plant with an annual output of 800,000 tons have been confirmed to settle in the industrial park. The Brunei government's goal is to turn the park into a world-class petrochemical industrial park. Companies from Japan, Australia and other countries have signed memorandums of understanding with the Brunei government to cooperate in the construction of methanol and urea plants, and will settle in the industrial park.
