Introduction: Recently, President Nursultan Nazarbayev of Kazakhstan inspected the industrial park project located in the Alatau district of Almaty City.


Details: The industrial park project will be a new economic growth point for Almaty, a base point for the further development of industry based on modern innovation, and a boost to regional GDP. Production enterprises from other areas of Almaty will be relocated to the park, which will greatly improve the city's transportation and environmental protection conditions. The park plans to house 76 industrial enterprises, including 20 food industry enterprises, 18 light industry enterprises, 14 furniture enterprises, 7 pharmaceutical enterprises, 4 chemical enterprises and 13 machinery manufacturing enterprises. The park initially plans to implement large-scale infrastructure projects, connect electricity, water and heating systems, and build transportation facilities; Potential investors will be provided with the land they need to establish a business in the form of cooperation with the state and the private sector, and administrative approval procedures will be handled for operators in the quickest and less costly way; Establish an education and training network for professional and technical workers and secondary technical personnel. It is expected that the establishment of the park will promote the production of daily consumer goods, further improve labor productivity and quality, and expand the variety of products in Almaty.
