Project introduction:

A start-up enterprise in Germany provides integrated services of industrial automation hardware and software. Through the "standardized robot unit+RXO software subscription", the company makes the robot loading and unloading into a catalog product that can be deployed on the same day, so that small and medium-sized metal processing plants can also buy automation like buying printers, thus reducing the import cycle, cost and risk to 1/3 of the traditional integration mode.

The company defines itself as a supplier of "industrial automation hardware+software integration", and its core mission is to make industrial machinery (robots, CNC, injection molding machines, packaging machines, etc.) have "plug and play" robot loading and unloading capabilities within one day, and complete the automatic landing of the whole line within 2-4 weeks. Around this mission, the company also operates two complementary business lines:

● Manufacturing and sales of standardized robot loading and unloading units-"Hardware is product".

● Subscription and integration service of industrial automation software based on RXO middleware platform-"Software as a service".

Through the trinity mode of "hardware+software+rapid implementation", the target customers focus on small and medium-sized metal processing workshops with the scale of 50-500 machine tools, helping them reduce the robot import cost to 1/3 of the traditional integration scheme, and shorten the delivery cycle from 6 months to less than 1 month.

The company mainly provides three standardized robot units and RXO middleware platforms, such as automatic feeding of lathe shaft parts, lathe disc/short shaft parts and pentahedron machining of vertical machining center. All units are pre-installed with RXO software before leaving the factory, and they can be turned on at the scene only by "three plugs"-power supply, gas supply and Ethernet.

● Mechanical, electrical and software are all platformized, 80% plug and play, 20% parametric adaptation, and there is no need to do integrated design from scratch.

● Pre-installation+three-plug design, and the customer's on-site downtime is ≤ 8 h;; Compared with traditional integrators, the average debugging time of 6-10 weeks is shortened by 90%.

● Integrate robot programming, CNC communication, data acquisition and safety logic into the same platform, reducing 70% programming man-hours;

● Subscription system is continuously upgraded, and customer automation assets are never "outdated".

● The total cost is leading, and the IRR of the same 2-shift production line is less than 12 months, while that of traditional integration is generally 24-30 months.

● With RXO Clone, customers can roll and copy 10-20 unique units within one week within the group, resulting in scale effect.
