Description: Located 15 kilometers east of Prague and with a population of 70,000, Kladno Industrial Park is one of the first industrial parks established in the Czech Republic. The park is conveniently located 13 km from the expressway and 18 km from Prague Airport, with rail access. The local infrastructure is perfect, the unemployment rate is low, and there are currently fewer preferential policies for foreign investment from the government.

Details: The Kladno Industrial Park is divided into two parts: the old industrial park and the new industrial park. The old 500-hectare park has been under construction since the early 90s, and the main investor is ECK Generating, a U.S.-funded power and heat company, with an investment of 1.1 billion crowns. In addition, NRG Energy and E1 Paso Energy in the United States have also invested in power projects in the park, and the old park has become an industrial park mainly for power and heat production and supply.

Built in 1998, the new industrial park covers an area of about 80 hectares, mainly using financial funds to build infrastructure and new factories, and is an industrial park focusing on the development of light industry and manufacturing. It currently attracts investment of around SEK 3 billion and provides 1,700 jobs. The main foreign-funded enterprises are Japan's Showa Aluminum Company (production of automotive air conditioners), the Netherlands Transito Properties (mainly production of circuit breakers, communication and microcomputer cables), Belgium's Barco Manufacturing (production of electronic components), Denmark's Lego Toys Company, France's Sagem (production of mobile communications and electronic equipment) company, etc.
