Project introduction:
The investment project plans to build a full-cycle tomato sauce production plant and greenhouse complex in Zana Colgan District, Kizil Alda, 70km away from Turkestan.
Current project status:
-Long-term leases have been signed, including 2,993 hectares of greenhouse complex land, 30 hectares of factory land, 2 hectares of pumping station land and 1 hectare of pumping station land.
-Factory and greenhouse equipment suppliers have been identified.
-Make an agreement with the authorities to connect to the nearest power station.
-Technical specifications of natural gas were obtained for the construction of natural gas distribution devices for the subsequent supply of natural gas to factories.
Project advantages:
Excellent geographical location. Setting the production base in Kyzil Alda will ensure access to developed railway and highway systems and supply raw materials and finished products to neighboring regions and other CIS countries.
Import substitution. The factory construction will help to supply high-quality domestic products to the market and reduce the import of canned tomatoes to Kazakhstan. In 2022, the import of canned tomatoes in Kazakhstan was 2. 30 thousand tons. In 2022, the import of processed vegetables reached 75,100 tons (accounting for 78% of the total consumption of processed vegetables in Kazakhstan).
Long production cycle and long storage period. The complete production cycle is helpful to better control the supply chain cost. Automatic production management system will control the risk of tomato infection and disease. The storage life of tomato sauce is extended to 24 months by using high temperature cold cracking and hot cracking production technology and aseptic bag packaging, without special storage conditions.
