GFVZD Belgium is a forestry family business. GFVZD is one of the enterprises that planted Douglas pine (Uller pine) in Belgium very early. The diameter of the trees ranges from 20 to 110 cm (measured on the bark, 1.5 meters above the ground).
GFVZD owns and develops a large continuous area, most of which are planted with pine trees (there are also a few hardwood areas, mainly planted with oak and mountain hair). The annual sales volume of GFVZD is 5-6,000 cubic meters, of which about 3,000 cubic meters are Douglas pine trees. Intercontinental exported logs will be cut to optimize container loading (usually 40ft containers).
