Project Description:

An Italian group is engaged in technical services for energy consumption analysis and monitoring, software development for IoT systems, support for management and analysis of IT infrastructure and implementation of new organizational models.

The company has a team of experts with extensive experience in design, plant engineering, energy diagnostics and certification, and IT consulting services. The main focus is on technical measurement and control solutions for companies or individuals with significant energy consumption to reduce consumption while rising environmental comfort; IoT solutions to optimize home management through control units capable of connecting to sensors and actuators using different communication protocols, and applications designed to provide users with services of high ease of use.

GEN-Energy Management

The GEN (Energy Management) portal provides a single interface for monitoring consumption meters, environmental parameters sensors, PV production, s-mart meters, actuator usage and weather forecasts. These data can be used to present energy efficiency. The different data can be displayed in graphical and tabular mode and can be exported in csv format for further processing. The different devices can be monitored in real time using a convenient graphical interface.

The system also allows centralized configuration of infrastructure and software updates for various iTherm+ 2.0 devices installed by end users in OTA mode.

iTherm+ is a home automation project that started with managing the temperature and humidity of indoor areas. It has evolved into an IoT control unit that can connect various sensors in the home (temperature, humidity, brightness, presence, video, alarms, etc.) and send data in different ways (WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, Zigbee, etc.).

The information is centralized and sent to a proprietary cloud MQTT agent; through a publish and subscribe mechanis-m, it can be used for devices that are authenticated to receive information from the control unit. Full remote control can be achieved via WEB and APP.

The controller has the logic to analyze data, make predictions and make decisions, such as starting a boiler or heat pump to meet the required heating and cooling requirements. Monitoring the temperature associated with energy consumption (indoor and outdoor) allows us to quantify the energy efficiency of the house and guide the choice of improvement actions.

Statistical analysis of the data using proprietary algorithms allows us to perform prognostic analysis of consumption and beha-vior based on weather forecasts, as well as changes in consumption and beha-vior over time.

Collaborative model:

The company offers energy management solutions and is looking for distributors to partner with.
