Project introduction:

A technology company from Aachen, Germany provides new wireless sensors to customize and develop sustainable Industry 4.0 solutions for customers.

Founded in 1996, the company has developed and sold wireless sensors and machine interfaces for more than 20 years. At first, in the field of medical technology and later in the field of hea-vy machinery engineering, special sensors or electronic components were developed for customers. Based on this experience and customer feedback, energy-sa-ving hardware and radio protocol are used to design a Pollux system, which has been continuously optimized since then and is currently being delivered to customers in the fifth generation. Since its establishment, in addition to medical technology and hea-vy machinery engineering, mining, automobile and production engineering fields ha-ve been further expanded.

For more than 20 years, the company's wireless sensors ha-ve been used in difficult conditions in production plants and mining around the world. We understand the challenging requirements of different industries and ha-ve been optimizing all aspects of sensors for many years to ensure their robustness, accuracy and operational reliability. Therefore, the sensor is dustproof, waterproof (IP67+), oil-resistant and acid-resistant, and can prevent mechanical impact.

Besides, the company has also developed a flexible Pollux system, which can measure various physical quantities, such as temperature, vibration, length or pressure, and trans-mit them wirelessly through its own energy-sa-ving radio system.

Pollux system is a wireless network system, including sensors, machine interfaces, edges and software. Through these systems, you can master various industrial measurement and control tasks. The center of the system is the specially developed Pollux radio, which enables the sensor to run for several years using standard batteries completely wirelessly. Pollux radio has been tested in industrial environment and proved to be reliable, even under difficult conditions.

Combined with Pollux sensor, various physical quantities such as vibration, temperature or pressure can be measured and trans-mitted. Typical applications are condition monitoring, monitoring of key system variables, remote control task or recording of production process.

Even if there is no Pollux sensor, Pollux radio can be used as an interface with the machine interface to wirelessly trans-mit machine parameters or process information. The further processing of data can be carried out by IPC, tablet or laptop.

Wireless sensor and intelligent Egde are specially designed for industrial applications, powered by specially developed wireless fidelity and hardware. Used for state monitoring, process optimization, etc.

Using the existing radio standards, it is almost impossible to achieve high sampling rate of industrial battery running time, and meet the high requirements of anti-interference and process reliability. Therefore, we developed our own radio electronic equipment and radio protocol for Pollux sensor.
