Project introduction:
The Electrical Engineering Department of Czech University of Technology focuses on the technological process and materials used in electronic production. We solve all kinds of commercial manufacturing problems and make high-quality diagnosis. In addition, we pay attention to quality management, environmental impact of different manufacturing technologies, ecological materials and material recycling.
Regarding batteries and energy storage, our research activities include battery cell, module and battery pack testing. In addition, we ha ve developed models of electricity, heat and service life.
Other areas we are interested in include battery management system (BMS), energy management system (EMS) and thermal management system (TMS), including estimation algorithms of state of charge and state of health, and estimation of remaining service life. In addition, we also aim at battery applications, such as electronic transportation, fixed storage systems and satellites (aerospace). In addition to technical solutions, we also studied the economic feasibility and environmental impact, which is especially important for the secondary life and recycling of batteries.
