Project introduction:
Established over 30 years ago, this British enterprise is the world leader in the production and distribution of scientific optical elements, serving many industries, including science, defense, medical treatment, pharmacy, optoelectronics, infrared materials, laser, oil and gas, engineering manufacturing, and combining traditional methods with modern advanced systems and metering equipment to provide customized solutions.
This enterprise provides a series of near-infrared and far-infrared anti-reflection coatings. Anti-reflection coating is used to increase the trans mitted luminous flux of the component, thus improving the overall performance of the instrument.
Anti-reflective coatings range from single-layer to high-efficiency multi-layer coatings. The anti-reflection coating can be vacuum deposited on the provided substrate, or on the a vailable stock substrate for infrared applications, such as germanium, silicon, sapphire, zinc selenide and gallium arsenide. These NIR and FIR anti-reflection coatings can be designed for 0 or off-normal incident angles, and can also be optimized for specific wa vebands.
The multi-layer high-efficiency multi-layer broadband coating is used for 3-5μm, 5-8μm or 8-12μm bands, which is commonly called atmospheric window. The peak trans mittance can reach more than 95%, and the trans mittance at 2-5m can reach more than 90%.
With a single layer coating, it can be optimized for a specific band. Single-layer anti-reflection film can be used in 0.9 to 20µm wa ve band. Compared with multi-layer coating, single-layer coating is restrictive, so it is cost-effective. Single-layer antireflection films are not broadband, but if they are used at a specific wa velength, they will be very effective. These are classified as "V" films. At the required wa velength, the peak trans mittance can reach more than 95%.
The enterprise can provide high-quality anti-reflection coatings on standard stock substrates or free distributed substrates according to exact specifications. Each component is individually tested by skilled technicians in advanced metrology laboratories using Cary 660 FTIR spectrometer to ensure that the components meet high quality standards.
