details:
Over the past few years, desk sharing has become increasingly popular in companies and organizations. However, until now, there has been no suitable and suitable solution on the market that combines the idea of a co-working desk with smart custom solutions to increase employee health, productivity and satisfaction.
The German startup offers a smart office system consisting of an office chair, a desk and a smartphone app that enables instant personalization of the workspace. Smart furniture is equipped with actuators and sensors that can be adjusted within seconds according to the user's preset parameters on the smartphone interface. When entering the office, users can use their smartphones to log in at an unmanned desk. The furniture (tables and chairs) immediately adapts to the well-known personalization setting, giving the user a familiar feeling. This solution allows flexible use of office space and offers a high degree of comfort and healthy working conditions.
The smartphone app contains the options needed to set up the office, including an initial setup guide. This ensures a healthy and well-tuned setup. Additionally, the available data is analyzed to consult users on behavioral improvements. By accessing sensor data, users receive real-time performance reports on standing and sitting activities. The report outlines recommendations and exercises to strengthen parts of the body that the system believes are adversely affected by sitting posture. The active sitting option will rotate the seat of the chair at a low frequency, engaging the user's intramuscular muscles to increase blood flow. This feature simulates metabolism to stay focused on work and keep energy levels high.
Additionally, the backend stores the generated data, which is immediately processed and displayed on the frontend of the mobile application. Data policy terms can be consistent with pilot customers. The stored data will be deleted after a determined time. The smart office chair is equipped with up to seven actuators, which can be adjusted according to the user's preferences. The protruding part of the chair is the main mechanism placed under the seat, including four actuators (seat angle, seat depth, seat height, reaction backrest). In addition, the chair's electronics include multiple sensors in the seat and chair back, which are installed in the upholstery. The office chair works on easily rechargeable batteries.
The startup uses existing height-adjustable desks and equips them with its own control unit. The charging stand is installed under the front of the table. The desk is also equipped with actuators and sensors that can be adjusted according to the user's preset parameters on the smartphone interface.
To test existing solutions, the startup is looking for testers/pilot customers willing to collaborate under a service agreement. As a service, the startup will make its embedded "Office 4.0" system available to bench partners interested in testing the solution and providing feedback on the suitability of the system. In addition, startups will provide support for technical issues and problems.
