Lightweight 3D format

We develop and sell 3D solutions to realize DX (digital transformation) of manufacturing by maximizing the value of design 3D data accumulated in manufacturing.

The high-precision and lightweight 3D format is used in various businesses such as design, mechanical simulation, process design, work instructions, and service documents. Large companies in the manufacturing industry are introducing more and more cases in the process of DX, which is becoming an industry standard for 3D data utilization. It has been adopted by domestic and foreign manufacturing industries that develop complex products such as automobiles, shipbuilding, and aircraft. It has the following three advantages:

Replacing the real machine with 3D, the verification provided in the design and production technology;

The 3D model of mechanical CAD, electrical information, control software and point cloud data from actual products can be integrated and displayed, which can realize verification that cannot be done with CAD alone;

With Web3D technology, documents including 3D can be distributed and displayed on tablet computers in a wide range of fields such as manufacturing, sales and service.

With these three advantageous features, 3D pipelines are created, enabling 3D design information to be used throughout the company (even across industries, customers). Currently, there is no other 3D format that is so expressive.

VR solutions in the same format are already under development. In addition, the Web3D solution that provides 3D data to tablets and smartphones has been commercialized, and manufacturers in the 5G era have begun to introduce it. We are working on enabling DX in manufacturing by leveraging 3D data (manufacturing "DXx 3D", 3D digital transformation of manufacturing). By sharing design information within the company in lightweight 3D, parallelizing processes, and by extending to sales companies, service companies, and customers outside the company, the business model of manufacturing companies is revolutionizing.

Creating the flow of 3D design information from design to downstream production is what we call the construction of a 3D pipeline. To do this, it is necessary to link the PLM system used for the design and convert the data into 3D format.

For manufacturing and service, we also offer the simpler support system XCM. Already in use in some manufacturing companies, the return on investment from process parallelization is becoming clear. By linking the two, the construction of a 3D assembly line will be completed, enabling the "DX x 3D" of manufacturing.
